Official City of Ava zoning map

The City of Ava publishes its official zoning map on the city website home page (Zoning Map widget). The clickable diamondMaps link is the official map. Chapter 110, Sec. 110-4 adopts the zoning map. Sec. 110-5 is how to read district boundaries. Sec. 110-7: use must conform to this chapter. How staff should answer “what zone is this parcel?”: 1. Open Code Chat → Zoning, or https://diamondMaps.com/map.ashx?key=999999260716105340671 2. Zoom to the address / parcel. 3. Read the district label (A, P, R-1, R-2, R-3, R-M, R-P, B-1, B-2, B-3, B-4, I-1, I-2, I-P). Older maps may say H-1 for heavy industry (now I-2). 4. Look up permitted / conditional uses in Chapter 110 for that district. 5. Check later map amendments not yet drawn.
