Ord. 1178 plus an excavation permit. A building permit is not enough.
Contractors working in the city right-of-way need Ordinance 1178 (Chapter 98 Article VIII City Assets and Right-of-Way Management) and an excavation permit from the Building Department. Do not send them into the street on a building permit alone.
