Code of Ordinances — how Ava’s code is organized

The ordinances of a general and permanent nature are the “Code of Ordinances, City of Ava, Missouri” (Sec. 1-1). Published 1998 recodification; current electronic supplement 32, updated on Municode July 22, 2026, codified through Ordinance 1163. Later ordinances (1164–1183 as of July 2026) may be adopted but not yet inserted into the bound code. This portal’s “Check Municode” button pulls those titles so staff see them before Municode reprints.
